we know that, V=IR

therefore, current I=V/R

  1. resistance in series is given by Rs=R1+R2

=10+20.

=30

R=30Ω

and I=V/R

therefore I=3/30. =0.1A

the current flowing in the circuit is 0.1A

2. potential difference across 10 Ω resistor is

V=IR

V=0.1 x 10

V=1v

therefore potential difference across 10 Ω resistor is 1v
