 \huge  \mathfrak \pink{\underline {\underline{Question:}}}

Suresh purchased a TV set for 2700 Rs and spent 300 Rs on its repairing. He then sold it to Sohan at a gain of 25%. Sohan sold it to Subhash at a loss of 10%. Find the C.P. for Sohan and Subhash.

 \huge \mathfrak \purple {\underline {\underline{Solution:}}}

Cost price (C.P.) of the TV set for Suresh = 2700 Rs.

Money spent on its repairs = 300 Rs.

Therefore, total C.P. for Suresh

= 2700 + 300

= 3000 Rs.

Also, gain = 25% (he sold it to Sohan for 25% gain).

Then, Selling price (S.P.) for Suresh

= (100 + gain%) × C.P. / 100

= (100 + 25) × 3000 / 100

= 125 × 30

= 3750 Rs.

Hence, Suresh sold the TV for 3750 Rs.

Now, S.P. for Suresh = C.P for Sohan

Hence, C.P. for Sohan = 3750 Rs.

And, loss = 10% (he sold it to Subhash for 10% loss)

Then, S.P. for Sohan

= (100-loss%)×C.P./100

= (100-10) × 3750/100

= 90 × 37.5

= 3375 Rs

Hence, Sohan sold it for 3375 Rs.

Then, S.P. for Sohan = C.P. for Suresh = 3375 Rs.

Therefore,

C.P. for Sohan = 3750 Rs.

C.P for Subhash = 3375 Rs.

★Solution

Cost price of the TV set for Suresh = ₹2700

Money spent on its repair = ₹300

Hence, Total C.P for Suresh

= 2700+300

= ₹3000

And gain = 25% ( he sold it to soham for 25%)

Then , selling price for Suresh

 = 100 + gram\%) \times  \frac {c.p}{100}

 = (100 + 25) \times  \frac{3000}{100}  = 125 \times 30 = 3750

Hence, Suresh sold the T.V fir ₹3750

Now , SP for Suresh = C.P fir soham

Hence , C.P for soham = ₹3750

And loss = 10%

Then , S.P for soham

 = (100 - loss\%) \times  \frac{c.p}{100}

 = (100 - 10) \times  \frac{3750}{100}  = 37.5

 = 90 \times 37.5 = 3375

So, soham sold it ₹3375

Hope it's help you
