7th term => a + 6d

41 = a + 6d

41 - 6d = a ---1equation

======================

6th term = a + 5d

19 = 41 - 6d + 5d

6d - 5d = 41 - 19

d = 22

Putting the value of d in 1equation

a = 41 - 6(22)

a = 41 - 132

a = -91

=====================

40th term = a + 39d

=> -91 + 39(22)

=> -91 + 858

=> 767

I hope this will help you
