The acid which does not undergo HVZ reaction is acetic acid and called ethanoic acid and most important of the carboxylic acid .


This dilute 5 percent by the volume solution of acetic produced by the fermentation and oxidation of natural carbohydrate is called vinegar even it has salt ester or ecylal of acetic acid is called as acetate.
