The adjacent sides of a parallelogram measures 35m,20m and the measure of one of the diagonal is 42m. find the area of parallelogram. ​

Area of parallelogram

= Area of 2 equal triangles

1) Area of triangle

vs(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

s = a + b +c. / 2

=35+20+42/2=97/2=48.5cm

A= v48.5 (48.5-35) (48.5-20) (48.5-42)

V48.5x 13.5x28.5x6.5=

v121292 =348cm2

Area of parallelogram=348x2

= 696cm2. Ans
