riaan age = 7×4=28

After 4 years, they'll be 4 years older

Therefore,

Age of Arya = 5x+4 ----(i)
and
Age of Riaan then = 7x + 4 -----(ii)

Now, according to question

sum of (i) and (ii) equals 56.

Therefore,

5x + 4 + 7x + 4 = 56

12x +8=56

12x = 56-8

12x = 48

x = 48/12 =4.



Therefore,

Age of Arya = 5x =5(4)=20 years
and
Age of Riaan = 7x =7(4)=28 years.
