The amount of naoh required to be dissolved in one litre of solution to give a ph of 11 at 25°c

pOH = 3

So, [OH-] = 10-³

So, 10-³ = moles/volume

Since volume = 1 litre

Hence moles = 10-³

amount/molar mass = 10-³

Hence, amount = 10-³×molar mass

= 10-³ × 40

= 0.04 gms.
