The amount of water vapour in the air decreases with increase in height above mean sea level. Why?

Because near sea areas water is more so water vapour is more so if it decreases then the water vapour decreases

altitude and height plays an important role in vaporization of the water as water vapours are heavy and at higher altitude , the air density decreases .
