so ,it forms equilateral triangle
draw perpendicular from centre to the chord
then it will bisect the in two equal parts
let AB be the chord and OM be the perpendicular from cantre to the
chord so AM=2AB
then in triangle OAM
AM/radius =cos60
AM=R/2
AB=2AM=R
Then the ratio b/w chord and diameter=R/2R=1:2
