area of circular park = 616 m²
Let the radius of park is r , then area of circular park = πr²
=> 616 = πr²
=> 616 = 22/7 × r²
=> 28 × 7 = r²
=> r = 14m

Given, width of track around the park running parallel to the boundary , d = 3.5 m
now, outer radius of track , R = 14m + 3.5m = 17.5m
inner radius of track, r = 14m

Given, width of track = 3.5
radius of outer circle , R = 14 + 3.5 = 17.5 m
perimeter of outer circle = 2πR
= 2 × 22/7 × 17.5
= 22 × 5 = 110 m

now, total cost to fence on the outer circle = rate of fencing × perimeter of outer circle
= 5 × 110 = 550Rs.
