Let breadth be x
Then length = 2x
Area of rectangle = 2450
length × breadth = 2450
(2x)(x) = 2450
2x² = 2450
x² = 1225
x² = 35²
x = 35

Breadth of rectangle = 35 m
Length of rectangle = 2(35) = 70 m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)
= 2(70+35)
= 2(105)
= 210 m

Let breadth be x.
Therefore,lenght is 2x.
Area of the rectangular field = 2x . x = 2x square
2450 = 2x square
=>2450/2 = x square
=>1225 = x square
=>x = square root of 1225
=>x = 35
breadth = 35 m
lenght = 35 x 2 = 70 m
Perimeter of the rectangular field = 2(35+70)
                                                     = 2 x 105
                                                     = 210 m.
