Let L =x
then B=x-5
area = (x) (x-5)=84
or x2-5x-84=0
solving it we get x= 12 and -7
taking x = 12 we get
L=12 and B=12-5 =7
P=2(L+B) = 2(12+7) =2(19) =38m ans.
