Let, the breadth of the rectangular field be, x

Length = (x*2)

           = 2x

By condition,

2(2x+x) = 4(√5184)

or, 3x = (4*72)/2

or, x = (2*72)/3

or, x = (2*24)

or, x = 48

So, the breadth of the rectangular field is 48 m

Length = (48*2) m

            = 96 m

So, the area of the rectangular field is =(96*48) m²

                                                               = 4608 m²

(Ans): 4608 m²
