Area of square = a²

According to the given question

a² = 8

a = ±√8

a = +2√2hecter OR a = -2√2hecter

a = -2√2 will be rejected becoz distance can't be negative.

So, a = 2√2hecter

Length of diagonal can be calculated by using Pythagoras theorem

d² = 16

d = 4hecter.

Velocity = Distance / Time

Time = ?

Velocity = 4km/hour

Distance = 4 hecters = 0.04km

So,

4 = 0.04/Time

Time = 0.04/4

Time = 0.01hour

OR

Time = 0.01 × 60 minutes

Time = 0.6minutes

OR

Time = 6 seconds
