Area of square=side×sise =64
That is equal to area of rectangle.
Area of rectangle=l×b ,where l=32.
So, b=64/32
The answer is 2 cm .B=2cm.

Answer:

 Breadth \: of \: the \: rectangle = 2\:cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Dimensions of a square:

Side of a square (a)=8 cm

Dimensions of a rectangle:

Length (l)= 32 cm,

Let breadth = b cm

According to the problem given,we get

Area of the rectangle = Area of the square

l \times b = a^{2}

\implies 32\times b = 8^{2}

\implies  b = \frac{8\times 8}{32}

\implies b = 2\:cm

Therefore,

 Breadth \: of \: the \: rectangle = 2\:cm
