Heya !!

Length of parallel sides are 55 cm and 35 cm.

Sum of parallel side's = ( 55 + 35 ) cm = 90 cm.

Let distance between the two parallel sides = X cm.

Area of trapezium = 1080 cm².

1/2 × ( Sum of parallel sides ) × ( Distance between them ) = 1080

1/2 × 90 × X = 1080

90X = 2160

X = 2160/90

X = 24 cm.

Hence,

Distance between parallel side's = X cm = 24 cm.

Given:

Trapezium's area=1080 cm sq

Length of parallel sides=55cm and 35cm

To find:

The height of the trapezium

Solution:

The required height is 24 cm.

We will use the formula mentioned below to calculate the value-

Trapezium's area=1/2×height×(parallel's sides' sum)

We will substitute the values in the formula to obtain the height's value.

Using the values,

1080=1/2×height×(55+35)

1080×2=height×90

2160/90=height

216/9=height

24=height

So, the trapezium's height is 24 cm.

Therefore, the required height is 24 cm.
