The area of a trapezium is 13.5 sq cm and the perpendicular distance between its parallelsides is 3 cm . If the length of one of the parallel sides is 5.6 cm, fid the length of the other parallel side.

hey \: mate \\ here \: is \: your \: answer \\  \\ the \: area \: of \: trapezium \\  \frac{1}{2}  \times (the \: sum \: of \: parallel \: side) h \\ 13.5 =  \frac{1}{2} (5.6 + x) \times 3 \\ 13.5 =  \frac{5.6 + x}{2}  \times 3 \\ 13.5 =  \frac{16.8 + 3x}{2}  \\  27 = 16.8 + 3x \\ 3x = 27 - 16.8 \\ 3x = 10.2 \\ x =  \frac{10.2}{3}  = 3.4
