Hi ,

Let a , b are the two parallel sides

of the Trapezium ,

a : b = 7 : 5

Let a = 7x cm

b = 5x cm

h = 18cm

Area of the Trapezium = 540 cm²

[ ( a + b ) h / 2 ] = 540

( 7x + 5x ) × 18/2 = 540

12x × 9 = 540

x = 540 / ( 12 × 9 )

x = 5

Therefore ,

a = 7x = 7 × 5 = 35 cm

b = 5x = 5 × 5 = 25 cm

I hope this helps you.
