Hey there ‼
_____________________

Base of ∆ = 12 cm

Height of ∆ = 2 × Base of ∆
= 2 × 12
= 24 cm

Area of ∆ = 1/2 × Base × Height
= 1/2 × 12 × 24
= 12 × 12
= 144 cm²

ANSWER :- A) 144 sq. cm

In context to questions asked,

We have to determine the value of area of triangle.

As per questions,

Base of triangle = 12 cm

Height of triangle = twice as the base =2 \times 12 = 24\:cm

As we know that,

Area of triangle can be determined by using the formula,

 \frac{1}{2} \times \: b \times h

So, for determining the area of triangle we will put the value given in the questions.

Thus we will get,

Area =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 12 \times 24 \\  =  > Area =  6\times 24 = 144\:cm^2

Hence value of base of triangle will be 144 Sq. cm
