volume = area of cross section X height

height per hour = 27 km
height per minute = 27/60 km

now, find the volume of water flowing per minute using the above information

Answer:

The volume of water which flows out if the pipe in one minute 24300000 ltr/min.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : The area of cross section of pipe is 5.4 cm^2 and water is pumped out of it at the rate of 27 km/h .

To find : In liters the volume of water which flows out if the pipe in one minute?

Solution :

The area of cross section of pipe is =5.4 cm.sq.

Speed of water is

S=27 kmph=\frac{27000}{60}=450m/min= 45000cm/min

Now water passes through the cross section is

V =5.4\times 45000=2430000cm^3=24300m^3/min

Now we know that 1 m^3=1000 ltr.

So water release per min =24300000 ltr/min

Therefore, The volume of water which flows out if the pipe in one minute 24300000 ltr/min.
