Given that :

Diagonal of square = 20 cm.

As we know that :

Side of square = √2. d/2

Side of square = √2. 20/2 = 10√2 cm.

Area of square = (side) ^2

and Area of equilateral triangle = √3/4 a^2

Now, according to the question :

√3/4 a^2 = (10√2)^2

=> a^2 = 200×4/√3

 =  > a = 20 \sqrt{ \frac{2}{ \sqrt{3} } }
