area of rhombus = 1/2 × de × de
=> 1/2 × 40 × d2 = 360
=> 20d2 = 360
=>d2 = 360/20
=> d2 = 18 cm.

d = diagonals

area of rhombus = 1/2 multiplied by product of its diagonals
one diagonal = 40cm
Let another diagonal be x
1 \div 2 \times 40 \times x = 360
20x = 360
x = 360 \div 20 = 18
