Volume of cylinder = base area * height

Base area = 140 cm²

Height = 17 cm

Volume = 140 * 17 = 154 * 34/ 2 = 77 * 34 = 2618cm3

Volume of the cylinder is 2380cm^{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Area of the base of a right circular cylinder is 140cm^{2} and its height is 17cm

\pi r^{2} =140cm^{2} and h=17cm

We know,

Volume of the cylinder is given

= \pi r^{2} h

Plug the value in above equation,

=(140\times 17)cm^{3}

=2380cm^{3}

So, Volume of the cylinder is 2380cm^{3}
