It is given that the Area = 169 cm2.

We know that,

Area of a square = side *side.

169 cm2= side square.(because anything multiplied by the same thing is the same as it's square).

square root of 169=side.(sending square from RHS to LHS ut becomes square root).

13 cm = side.

The side of the square is 13 cm.

Your answer :

We all know that the sides of the square are equal. So, now lets start.

Formula for Area of a square : S × S

So,

Area of the Square = 169 cm^2

S × S = 169

[Since there are two "S" we change it to s^2]

s^2 = 169

s = √169

s = 13 m

Hope this helps.

Have a nice day =)
