Answer:

The volume of the cuboid is 60 centimeter cube.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : The area of three consecutive faces of cuboid are 12cm square, 20cm square and 15cm square.

To find : The volume of the cuboid ?

Solution :

Let the dimensions of the cuboid,

Length = l

Breadth = b

Height = h

We have given,

l\times b=15 \text{ cm}^2  .....[1]

b\times h=20 \text{ cm}^2  .......[2]

l\times h=12 \text{ cm}^2 .......[3]

Volume of the cuboid is V=lbh

Multiply [1] , [2] and [3] we get,

lb\times bh\times lh=(lbh)^2

15\times 20\times 12=(lbh)^2

3600=(lbh)^2

lbh=\sqrt{3600}

V=60\text{ cm}^3

Therefore, The volume of the cuboid is 60 centimeter cube.
