area of trapezium is 1÷2×sum of parallel side×height
let shoter side is x
then other is x+16
182=1÷2×(x+16+x)×14
182×2÷14=2x+16
26=2x+16
10=2x
x=5
so smaller side is 5cm
other is 21cm
