If EF=6.9cm,find BC

Triangle ABC/Triangle DEF =BC/ EF

36/ 81= BC/ 6.9

WE know that,

the ratio of areas are equal to the ratios of squares of their corresponding sides

so,

36/81= (BC/6.9) square

root 36/81 = BC/6.9

6/9= BC/6.9

6×6.9 = BC×9

41.4/9=BC

4.6 = BC

therefore BC = 4.6
