AVG age = 16
sum of ages = 16*2=32
so age of father is (7/8) *32=28years
sum of ages = 16*2=32
so age of father is (7/8) *32=28years

let x be constant
7x will be age of father
x will be age of daughter
hence (7x+x)÷2=16
8x÷2=16
4x=16
x=4= age of daughter
7x= 7×4=28=age of father
7x will be age of father
x will be age of daughter
hence (7x+x)÷2=16
8x÷2=16
4x=16
x=4= age of daughter
7x= 7×4=28=age of father
