avg calculated = 35
average = sum/no. of terms
35 = S/20 (S = Sum)
S = 35*20 = 700
Now as 85 was read as 45, 700 include 45 not 85 hence removing 45 from 700 and adding 85 tobit give me the real sum
= 700-45+85
=740
Now new average = S/n
= 740/20
= 37
Hence the correct average is 37.
