The average salary of 19 workers in a factory is ₹ 12,000 per month. If the salary of the manager is ₹ 42,000 per month, find the average monthly salary paid to all the employees​

• Total Salary of workers is :

⇒ Total Sum = Average × Number

⇒ Total Sum = 12,000 × 19

⇒ Total Sum = Rs. 228,000

• Average of all Employees :

⇒ Average = Total Sum /Number

⇒ Average = Workers Sum + Manager/20

• Workers + Manager = 19 + 1 = 20

⇒ Average = 228,000 + 42,000 /20

⇒ Average = 270,000 /20

⇒ Average = 13,500

∴ Average Monthly Salary is Rs. 13,500.

we know that,

$Average = \frac{Sum \: of \: observation}{Total \: Number \: of \: observation}$

so,

Sum of Total workers salary = 12000 × 19 = Rs.228000

Now, salary of manager is given = Rs.42000

so, Total salary of (19workers + 1 manager) = 228000+42000 = Rs.2,70,000

so,

→ Average of all 20 employees of Factory will be :-----

$\implies \frac{270000}{20} = 13500$

First we have to understand what is An Average ?

→ An average is the middle term of all the given values,

which will get, when Higher numbers give their extra values to lower numbers ..

If we think for some time , we can solve this problem ,

without pen, or any calculation ..

it has been said that average of 19 workers is = Rs.12000

and, salary of manager = Rs.42000 .

That means , when we Find new average that will go, Rs.12000 in manager account and rest part is divided among all equally, to make An average Number .

Manager has More Salary now , than average =

→ 42000 - 12000 = Rs.30000 .

That means we can say that, This Rs.30000 amount now,
