let us find the sum of weights of all 15 girls.

24*15 = sum of weights of 15 girls

360= sum of weights of 15 girls...

now,let us find for 16 girls

average=sum of weights of 15 girls+ weight of new girl / 16

Let,the weight of new girl be x

26= 360+x/ 16

26*16 = 360+x

416 = 360+x

416-360 = x

56=x

The weight of new girl is 56kg.
