Assume X = Summation of 50 balls
Given
X/50 = 5 gm
X = 250 gm
Now when we include the bags weight the average weight increases by 0.05gm
This equation now becomes
X/50 = ( 5 + 0.05)
Now
X = 50*(5+0.05)
we already have calculated the Summation of 50 balls thus the additional weight will be the weight of the bag
Therefore 50*0.05 = 2.5 gms is the weight of the bag used
