Answer:

Let the numbers be a,b,c,d,e

Given that average of these 5 numbers = 27

ie. (a+b+c+d+e)/5 = 27

= a+b+c+d+e = 135 ------(1)

Then its said that when one number excludes the avg becomes 25

So let's exclude (e)

= (a+b+c+d)/4 = 25

= a+b+c+d = 100 --------(2)

From the equation (2) a+b+c+d = 100

Substituting value of a+b+c+d = 100 in equation (1)

=>> 100+e = 135

=>> e = 135 - 100 = 35

=>> e = 35
