The base of a cuboidal tank is 3.5m long and 170cm wide. The tank contains
5355 litres of water. Find the height of the water level in the tank.​

Capacity of a cuboidal water tank = 24000 litres

Now,

1 m³ = 1000 litres

So, 24000 litres = 24000/1000 = 24 m³ = volume if the tank

Length of the tank = 6m

Breadth of the tank = 3.5 m

Height if the tank = ?

Length × breath × height = 24

=> 6 × 3.5 × height = 24

=> height = 24/(6 × 3.5)

=> Height = 1.14 m
