Answer:

let altitude of the parallelogram=X meters

so,base=2x meters

Area of the field= (2x × x) m s.q.

rate of lying grass in the field= 1,500 per hectare

total cost lying grass in the field = 12000

area of field= 12500/1500hectares

= 8 hectares

= 80000m s.q. (1ha= 100×100m s.q.)

now,2x s.q. = 80000

so,x s.q. = 80000/2

x s.q. = 40000

x = √40000

x = 200m

base of the parallelogram= 2×200m

=400m

the other side= 150m

perimeter of parallelogram= 2(length+breadth)

2×550

1100m
