The blood vessel taking blood into Bowman’s capsule is afferent arteriole.

* Renal artery that delivers blood for filtration to the kidneys has two sub divisions. It enters the Bowman's capsule as an afferent arteriole but exits it as the efferent arteriole.

* Blood first enters the Bowman's capsule( cup like structure at the beginning of renal tubule) through the glomerular capillaries for filtration.

* The next step is tubular reabsorption which takes in the renal tubules followed by tubular secretion.

* The filtered blood comes out through the renal vein along with the excess water.

* The rest of the water goes out along with the toxic waste through the ureter in the form of urine.
