Form the first equation

2x = 2/3 y

x = 2/6 y

Substitute [ 1 ] into [ 2 ]:

6(1/3 y) + 8y = 1512

2y + 8y = 1512

10y = 1512

y = 151.2

Substitute y = 151.2 into [ 1 ]:

x = 1/3 (151.2)

x = 50.4
