The charge on an electron is 1.6X10^ -19. Find the number of electrons that will flow per second to constitute a current of 2A.

I =q/t

and

q =ne

hence

I =n*e/t

since I=2A

, e = 1.6 * 10^-19

and time = 1sec.

therefore

n = 1.25 * 10^19
