Circumference of a circle = 440

We know that,

Circumference of Circle = πd

According to the question,

πd = 440

22/7 × d = 440

d = 440 ÷ 22/7

d = 440 × 7/22

d = 20 × 7

d = 140cm

We know that,

Radius = diameter/2

r = 140/2

r = 70cm

Area of Circle = πr²

= 22/7 × 70 × 70

= 22 × 10 × 70

= 22 × 700

= 15400cm²

Therefore, area of Circle is 15400cm².
