cloth required to make each shirt uniform = 1m80cm
shirts can striched using cloth =40m
convert into cm
1m = 100cm
⇒100+80
⇒180cm cloth required for each shirt uniform

⇒400cm total length of cloth can strich shirt uniform

total length of the cloth / cloth required each shirt uniform
=400/180
2 shirts can tailor strich
how much cloth will left =360-400
                                      =40cm
in m cloth will left = 0.40m
