Midpoint ( x , y ) = ( 2, 4) :

 \frac{x1 + x2}{2} \: \: \frac{y1 + y2}{2} = (2,4)

(x1 , y1) = (5,7)
(x2,y2) = ?

 \frac{5 + x2}{2} = 2 \: ,\: \frac{7 + y2}{2 } = 7 \\ 5 + x2 = 4 \:, \: y2 + 7 = 14 \\ x2 = - 1 \: ,\: y2 = 7

Thus ( x2, y2) = B point = ( -1, 7)

Answer:

guys here x1 & x2 are give and we have to find x2 and y2

so 1st write the midpoint formula

( x1 + x2 / 2 ,  y1 + y2 / 2 )  = ( 2 , 4 )

2nd take x or y co ordinate

3rd do the sum by ur self so that u can understand the sum even better

guys its my first time so plz help to reach the goal
