midpoint of ac f(x,y) = 1/2(7+1) + 1/2 (2+4)

                                  = (4,3)

   = √(8-4)² + (6-3)²

        =√25

       =5cm

bc=√ (x₂-x₁)² -(y₂-y₁)²

     = √(9-1)² + (10-4)²

      =√64 +36

      =√100

        = 10

ef=1/2 x bc

5  = 1/2 x 10

5 = 5

hence proved
