The correct formula to calculate the hydroxyl ion concentration of an aqueous solution of NH₄NO₃ is

 pK_{w}=pH+pOH

Here,

 pK_{w} , is defined as ionic product of water that comes out to be 14.

where , pH is negative logarithm of hydronium ion concentration

While pOH is  negative logarithm of hydroxyl ion concentration.

 14= -log[H^{+}]+ -log[OH^{-}]

So by using this formula the hydoxyl ion concentration of an aqueous solution of NH₄NO₃ can be determined .
