The cost of cultivating a circular field at the rate of 2.25 per acre (1 acre = 100 sq m) is Rs346.50. Find the cost of fencing it with a wire costing rs3.50 per metre.

= 154 acre

let radius be x

(22× x²)/7 =15400

x²=4900

x=70m

so circumference = length of wire need for fencing

(2×7×22)/7

=44m

1 m cost = ₹3.50

so 44 m cost = 3.50×44

= ₹154 is the cost of fencing the field
