Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

2*22/7*r=5280/24=220

So r=220*7/44

R=3.5

Given that:-

  • Cost of fencing circular field at rate of ₹24 per meter is 5280.

  • Rate of ploughing per meter square is Rs.050

To Find:-

  • Total cost of ploughing the field.

Solution:-

  • We have to find the circumference of the field

\sf ➯Circumference  = \dfrac{Total \: cost}{cost \: per \: m}

\sf ➯Circumference =   \cancel\dfrac{5280}{24}

\sf ➯Circumference = 220cm

Let:-

  • The radius of field be r cm.

⇰We know that,

\sf ➺Circumference = 2 \pi r

\sf ➺Area \: of \: circle = \pi {r}^{2}

\sf ⇒220 = 2 \pi r

\sf ⇒220 = 2 \times \dfrac{22}{7} \times r

\sf ⇒220 = \dfrac{44}{7} \times r

\sf ⇒\cancel 2\cancel 2\cancel0⁵ \times \dfrac{7}{\cancel4\cancel4} = r

\sf ⇒5 \times 7 = r

\sf ⇒35 = r

Now:-

  • Radius of circular field is 35cm.

\sf ⇒Area = \dfrac{22}{7} \times {35}^{2}

\sf ⇒22 \times 5 \times 35

\sf ⇒3850 {cm}^{2}

Then,

  • Cost of ploughing per m² = Rs.0.50

Therefore,

➾Cost of ploughing 3850m²

⇒ 3850 × 0.50

⇒ Rs.1925
