Volume of the cylindrical pipe=7040/5=1408m^3...let the radius be r cm..so volume of the pipe=1408=22/7*r^2*7=>1404/22=r^2=64=r=8m..ans

Answer:

The answer to this question is 8 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

So, We have been given the total cost of making the Cylindrical pipe.

and we have also been given the cost of making 1 m³ of the pipe.

So, as we know that

Total Cost of making pipe= Cost of making pipe per m³ × volume of the pipe

So We can find the volume of the cylinder By the above statement.

⇒ 7040/5 == 1408 m³ = Volume of the pipe.

Now,

Required to find = radius of the pipe

Given=

(1) Height of the pipe = 7m

(2) Volume of the pipe= 1408 m³ (calculated above)

∴ Volume of a cylinder = πr²h

But Volume of the cylinder = 1408m³

According to the question,

πr²h= 1408

h= 7 so,

⇒πr² (7) = 1408

⇒22/7 × r² × 7 = 1408

⇒ 22× r² = 1408

⇒ r² = 64

⇒ r = √64

⇒ r = 8 cm

Answer = 8cm
