Answer:

₹10.66

Explanation:

Given :

\bullet\sf{}\ Cost\ of\ 2\dfrac{1}{4}\ or\ \dfrac{9}{4} m\ ribbon =Rs12

To Find :

\bullet\sf{}\ Cost\ of\ 2m\ ribbon =\ ?

Solution :

We know cost of  9/4 m ribbon = ₹12

So,cost of 1 m ribbon :-

\implies \sf{}12\div \dfrac{9}{4}

\implies \sf{}12\times \dfrac{4}{9}

\implies \sf{}4\times \dfrac{4}{3}

\implies \sf{}\dfrac{16}{3}

Therefore,Cost of 2 m ribbon :-

\implies \sf{}\bigg(\dfrac{16}{3}\bigg)\times 2

\implies 10.66

Hence,cost of 2 metre of ribbon is equal to ₹10.66
