The crops grown in between the Kharif and Rabi season are called Zaid crops.

In the sub-continent of India, the crops grown on the irrigated lands that never have to wait for the monsoon seasons in short time duration between the Kharif and Rabi crop season, majorly from the month March to June, are the Zaid crops.

They are commonly grown in summer season.
