The deep seated blood vessles (the arteries )bulge on the side towards the heart when tied.What do you understand from it?

the blood vessels are deep seated on one side of the heart because arteries have no valves and the blood flows in spurts with a great flow and it bulges on one side when tied because it has thick connective tissue and small lumen.
