let the numerator be x
dinominator be x+2

acc. to ques
x+x+2=1/2
2x+2=1/2
2(x+1)=1/2
x+1=1/2×1/2
×=1/4-1
x=(-3/4)

numerator=x=(-3/4
dinominator=x+2=-3/4+2=-3+8/4=5/4
